I also love mixing records. Mixing a record is my favorite part of the recording process, and I've spent the last four years as co-owner of The Bunker Studio building an awesome arsenal of gear for mixing. For me, the sound and presentation of the music is almost as important as the music itself. From pop to live jazz recordings, dance music to folk, indie rock to country, I have mixed music in many styles, and find great enjoyment in presenting each project the best that I can. The mix has to serve the song, and bring into focus the most important or interesting elements, but I also think that a mix should have its own intrigue and character. In this way, I liken mixing to photography, where the subject alone does not make the photograph great, but rather the depth of field, composition, lighting and other elements help to make the subject seem even more captivating. If you have a record that is not yet mixed, or one that you are unhappy with the mixes of, please contact me via email by clicking here or on the link in the navigation bar.
